Here is a simple recipe for vanilla cupcakes:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.

  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.

  5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each one about three-quarters full.

  6. Bake the cupcakes for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

  7. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Once the cupcakes are completely cool, you can frost them with your favorite vanilla frosting. Enjoy!
